General Information

. Abstracts may be submitted through the ESPRAS Congress 2022 website. Abstracts submitted by fax or email will not be accepted.

. Please make sure to state your correct e-mail address. If possible use the same email address you plan to use for registering the event. This will help for confirmation matters and for matching profiles.

. A candidate may submit the following abstracts:

- Oral presentation

- ePoster

. Authors are requested to select a topic under which they wish their abstract be reviewed. You may find all topics below on the form.

. Each author may submit a maximum of three abstracts.

. Please consider that the presenting authors of an accepted abstract must register and attend the congress.

. A selected number of abstracts will be accepted for oral and eposter presentation based on their scientific merits. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to decide on the final

allocation and presentation method. Please note that some abstracts submitted as oral presentation may be accepted only for eposter.The decision of the Committee is final.

. After having submitted your abstract, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail with the reference number of your abstract (for correspondence and questions that might arise).

Abstract Form

. Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English. Please have your abstract proofread for grammar and understanding. Abstracts written in any other language will be automatically removed.

. Provide a short, specific title indicating the nature of the abstract. The background and goals of the study should appear clear to the reader. The methods and results must contain data, and the conclusion should be clearly expressed.

. Following structure is required:

  • Objectives/Introduction
  • Methods
  • Results must include primary research results including sample size and statistical analyses, if the sample size of the dataset is not provided, the abstract cannot be accepted (except for case study abstracts)
  • Conclusions (avoid evasive statements like “the findings will be discussed”)

. The Scientific Committee will only accept abstracts with final results or conclusions.

. When using abbreviations or acronyms, please take in consideration to spell them out in full with the abbreviation in parentheses the first time it appears in the text. The abbreviation should be used alone from thereafter.

. Make sure not to include either tables, charts or other graphics as they will be deleted by the editors.

. A statement for disclosures of potential conflict of interest and source of funding is mandatory for all authors. All disclosures should be listed if relevant to the abstract content.

. For standardization, the acceptable length of all abstracts presentations is of maximum of 400 words (excluding title, reference and authors’ information as well as the disclosures).


Each abstract will be reviewed and final selection will be made by the Scientific Committee. The notification of acceptance or rejection will be sent by email by the June 19. Full instructions concerning preparation and presentation will be given at that time.


All accepted abstracts along with the authors will be mentioned in the program as well as on the congress website and social media network. Full text of the accepted abstracts will be published on the congress book and website.
