Registration for the ESPRAS Congress 2022 is available through the online platform www.espras2022.org by a simple and safe process.
After going through the registration full process, including payment and confirmation, you will immediately get access to your profile area where you will be able to stay updated with the recent news, book additional services such as social events, registration of companions, among others.
Please consider that registrations received by fax, mail or email are subject to an administrative surcharge of € 50,00.
After receiving the correct registration fee and confirming supportive documents (applicable for Residents, Unit Nurses, Medical Students and Surgeons from Developing Countries), you shall receive a confirmation email of your registration.
Please note that if you register as Residents, Nurses and Medical Students or Surgeons from Developing Countries, you will have to provide documentation that supports your registration. If you fail to make evidence of your status please consider that your registration won’t be accepted and if you wish to cancel it the Congress organization will make the return by bank transfer minus any bank and handling charges necessary for this purpose.
The Congress registration fee and additional services will be paid in Euro (€).

Accredited journalists are welcome to cover ESPRAS Congress 2022. Please use the LOGIN/REGISTER page of the official online website to submit your press identification.
All cancellations must be sent by email to email@example.com
Refund of registration fees will be as follows:
. Cancellations made until July 30th will be refunded minus 20% of the registration for handling and banking costs.
. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after August 1st.
. For any name change, a fee of € 25 will be charged.
RELATED MATTERS TO COVID-19:
Please be aware that to access the event you might be asked to present a valid COVID certificate (vaccination certificate and/or negative COVID test) together with your identity card or passport, or any other document or confirmation required by law. Further information will be given closer to the dates.
In order to offer the participants the highest quality level of safety, a strict hygiene plan will be established based on the official regulations and recommendations of the Portuguese Health Authorities. As those regulations are subject to constant changes, the detailed safety measures of the ESPRAS Congress 2022 will be communicated closer to the dates of the event.
If at the time of the event you are not able to attend due to any COVID-19 personal reason (including but not limited to positive testing, travel or transportation restrictions, need of quarantine) the registration fee will not be refunded.
However, considering the COVID’s world situation and the effects that brings to the uncertain of traveling, the Congress’ organization will consider a possible refund if the following restriction to travel may occur at the time of the event:
- Attendee’s Country Health or Governmental Authorities expressly declare themselves “against all but essential travel” to Portugal by their citizens;
In this case the refund will be deductible of any administrative and/or processing fees e.g. credit cards, bank transfers, or others.
Please consider that if at the time of the event the overall situation related to COVID either in Portugal or even worldwide doesn’t allow the event to be held in a successful way or if does not guarantee the safety of all participants, the organization may consider postponing it to future dates. In this case, all registrations will automatically be valid for the new dates and the registration fee will not be refunded.
In the event of cancellation of the Face-to-Face ESPRAS Congress 2022 related to the COVID-19 crisis, the organization will automatically register you for an Online Edition of the Congress, in case it is carried out. In this case organization’s liability is limited to the refund of the difference in the registration fee, if any.
In the event of cancellation of the Face-to-Face ESPRAS Congress 2022 and with no Online Edition held again related to the COVID-19 crisis, the organization’s liability is limited to the refund of the paid registration fee, less possible administrative and/or processing fees e.g. credit cards. The organization will not be liable for any other damage or loss incurred by you as a consequence of such cancellations including but not limited to travel/flight losses, accommodation cancellations, among others.
VISA AND LETTER OF INVITATION:
Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you to contact your Consulate for official instructions on this specific matter to get information on the proper regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa if required.
Whenever needed, the ESPRAS Congress 2022 organization may provide you a letter of invitation following your registration and payment has been carried out. The purpose of this document is to facilitate participants obtaining a visa if necessary to visit Portugal. Please understand that it doesn’t reveal any commitment nor intention from the Congress’ organization to provide any kind of financial support nor confirmation of inclusion in the Scientific Program. The invitation letter may be requested during the online registration.
The participant acknowledges that he / she has no right to lodge damage claims against the organizers should the holding of the congress be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or economic events or generally by "force majeure", or should the non-appearance of speakers or other reasons necessitate program changes. With his/her registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

Participants are advised to wear business casual for all Congress functions and programmes. For the official Congress dinner (not included on the participation fee) the dress code will be formal wear.
Guest Attendance Policy
All event activities (including sessions, meals, exhibition hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.
Daily pass tickets will be available for any accompanying adult or children above 12 years. You can purchase them on your online personal area or on site at the Secretariat counter of the event.
Liability and Insurance
We strongly advice not to leave personal bags or suitcases unattended at any time, whether inside or outside the session halls. There will be cloakrooms on site for you to store clothes and luggage.
The Congress Secretariat and Organizers cannot accept liability for personal accidents, loss or damage to private property of participants. Participants are advised to take out their own personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
ESPRAS Congress 2022 assures a confidentiality obligation for personal data protection according to the International Conventions and that doesn’t share at all any of the information with no other external company with the exception of hotels, tour companies, transfer operators or any other touristic service in the case any is purchased.
Personal data such as names and email addresses will be stored during a period of 4 years.
Notwithstanding this confidentiality obligation, ESPRAS Congress 2022 organization and secretariat shall be within its rights indefinitely and irrevocably to record media content namely pictures and videos and use this information for advertising and presentation purposes in any bona fide way, in particular also on the internet.
