Alfândega do Porto
A unique space inaugurated in 1859, located in the historic center of Porto on the banks of the Douro River.
It is an historic building restored by architect Souto Moura.
At the time of its inauguration, the main function of the Alfândega was the transportation of merchandise. Nowadays, the Alfândega is used for cultural events and hosts numerous shows and congresses.
In the years 2014, 2015 and 2017 it was considered the Best Congress Center in Europe in the Business Destinations Travel Awards.
Alfândega has 36,000 m² of usable area, 22 multifunctional spaces, and 400 parking spaces, ready to welcome you. It also has full Wi-Fi coverage and accessibility for disabled people, all to provide you with an incredible experience with unique experiences and full of knowledge.

How To Get There
How to arrive by AIRplane
To get to Alfândega do Porto from Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, there are 2 options:
1st option:
Metro "Line E" with destination "Estádio do Dragão". Get off at "Trindade".
Trip duration: 24 minutes
Title of transport: Z4
In "Trindade" make the transfer to "Line D" to "Santo Ovídio" and get off at "São Bento".
Trip time: 4 minutes
Title of transport: use the title of the previous trip
Leaving the metro station you will find the STCP bus stop "500" with destination "Matosinhos (Mercado)". Get off at the "Alfândega" stop.
Trip duration: 5 minutes
Ticket: use the same ticket of the previous trip.
2nd option:
Uber | Taxi - 25 minutes approximately
How to arrive by TRAIN

Arriving by train in Porto you can reach Alfândega do Porto from two train stations:
Campanhã
1st option:
Take train/metro to "São Bento".
Journey time: 4 minutes
Transport title: Z2
Leaving the station go to the STCP bus stop "500" with destination "Matosinhos (Mercado)". Get off at the "Alfândega" stop.
Journey time: 5 minutes
Ticket: use the same ticket of the previous trip
2nd option:
Take metro from "lines A, B, C, E or F" at "Campanhã" and get off at "Trindade".
Trip duration: 6 minutes
Title of transport: Z2
Take the "D Line" to "Santo Ovideo" and get off at "São Bento”
Trip duration: 4 minutes
Ticket: Use the same ticket as the previous trip

By A1:
Take the A1 to Via Panorâmica Edgar Cardoso in Porto.
Keep right at the fork to continue on A1 and follow directions to IC2/Porto-Arrábida/Gaia Centro/IC1/V.na Castelo.
Take the exit towards Campo Alegre. (750m)
Slight left turn towards Via Panorâmica Edgar Cardoso (260m)
Turn right to R. da Rainha Dona Estefânia (280m)
Turn right to R. de Dom Pedro V (600m)
Turn left to Viaduto do Cais das Pedras (850m)
Continue to R. Nova da Alfândega (220m)
Through A3:
Take the A3 to the Edgar Cardoso Panoramic Way in Porto.
Go South in front of A3
Use the 2 right lanes to take exit 6 to converge with A20/IC23 towards VCI/Porto/Boavista/Gaia/Arrábida (4,1km)
Continue until A1/IC23 (2,1km)
Take the exit towards Campo Alegre (1,4km)
Slight left to Via Panorâmica Edgar Cardoso (260m)
Turn right to R. da Rainha Dona Estefânia (280m)
Turn right to R. de Dom Pedro V (600m)
Turn left to Viaduto do Cais das Pedras (850m)
Continue to R. Nova da Alfândega (220m)
Via A4:
Take the A4 to the Via Panorâmica Edgar Cardoso in Porto.
Follow Southwest towards A4.
Use the 2 lanes on your right to merge with A3 towards Porto/A1/Lisboa (3km)
Use the 2 right lanes to take exit 6 to merge with A20/IC23 towards VCI/Porto/Boavista/Gaia/Arrábida (4,1km)
Continue until A1/IC23 (2,1km)
Take the exit towards Campo Alegre (1,4km)
Slight left to Via Panorâmica Edgar Cardoso (260m)
Turn right to R. da Rainha Dona Estefânia (280m)
Turn right to R. de Dom Pedro V (600m)
